Staying with us...
We are well aware that guests who have chosen to come and stay with us have made a deliberate and conscious decision to neither study at a corporate language school nor to stay at an equally impersonal large hotel. We believe that some people are seeking a home away from home, a place to relax and unwind that they may call their own.

That is why we have a very simple philosophy to share with those who stay with us: our home is your home. There are no rules here - you do what you want when you want, just as you would do in your own home.

Whilst we have tried very hard to make our cottage as comfortable as possible, there are two areas worthy of special mention for our Japanese guests:
bathing and eating.
After a hard days work we know that there is nothing quite like a relaxing hot bath for relieving stresses and strains. After many years of living and working in Japan, we were not prepared to give up the wonderful Japanese bathing ritual - even in the wilds of the Welsh countryside. So, the bathroom at 'Blue Pathway' has been specially designed to recreate the Japanese bathing experience; albeit with the addition of a little Roman flair.

A powerful and stimulating shower in a  seperate washing area is combined with a deep hand built bath tub finished in beautiful Italian blue mosaic. It's the perfect way to finish your day, and if you close your eyes you might just imagine that you are at home...

Trying (and enjoying) new types of food is an important and integral part of the experience of living in a foreign country. Unfortunately however, the reputation for British food as being bland and unexciting is not totally unfounded though, to be fair, most critics would argue that over the past few years the UK has been undergoing something of a culinary revolution.

As our guests, we will do our best during the course of your stay to dispel the last lingering remnants of the "Bad British Food" myth, and introduce you to some of the finest and healthiest fresh produce available anywhere in the world.
